1. Resume

Short summary of skills, experience and career objective

I have worked in evidence-based medicine for at least eighteen years, successfully developing my skills and practical experience in leading, conducting and publishing systematic reviews and meta-analyses. I have applied this expertise in evaluating the effectiveness of pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions across a broad range of topics in public/health services, genetics research and in developing health technology assessments, and clinical guidelines for NICE UK.

Similarly, I worked with a WHO Rapid Review Group, reviewing the scientific evidence on emergency topics including mpox and covid-19 to inform international policy and clinical guidance. Currently, I work part-time at the University Hospital of Lausanne doing research and management of an evidence synthesis project to inform its implementation in the Canton of Vaud.

I have solid experience leading and conducting research, as demonstrated in the co-authored works listed in my curriculum vitae. In my latest research, I had the opportunity to conduct a cross-sectional study and a nationwide survey and develop a policy brief and a stakeholders' dialogue in Switzerland.

My roles have involved organising, communicating, and coordinating projects with internal, external and international teams, planning and executing all project stages, and preparing grant applications. I have had the opportunity to work with clinicians and stakeholders in preparing the findings from clinical effectiveness research to inform decision-making. I am experienced in communicating and disseminating research findings in peer-review publications, summaries, reports, and oral and poster presentations at national and international conferences. I have had the opportunity of collaborating in projects and supervising medical students.
