Short summary of skills, experience and career objective

I am interested in major fields of emerging infectious diseases (bacteria and parasites), infectious disease epidemiology and development of cost effective molecular diagnostic methods. Minor in pathogenesis and antibiotic resistance.
Throughout my university research, I have obtain practical skills in performing basic Staining Techniques for identification of most of the Bacteria, Fungus & Parasites, Concentration Techniques for detection of parasitic organisms, Antibiotic Sensitivity Tests, Successfully Identification of Antibiotic Resistance patterns, PCR Assays, Real Time PCR, DNA Extractions, Gel Electrophoresis and SPSS/jamovi statistical analysis at the Department of Microbiology and Parasitology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka and at the Department of Microbiology, Bangalore University, India.
