I am a trained Clinical Microbiologist from India. I have completed my MD with a thesis in Urogenital Tuberculosis. I have almost 4 years of experience working across both Clinical and Diagnostic Microbiology. I have had over a year of Molecular microbiology training in India's biggest COVID dedicated hospital.
I take keen interest in following up my reports bedside to completely understand the implications and outcomes of infectious diseases.
I have been actively involved in the Hospital infection control team of our hospital for last 4 years.
I also have experience working in an emergency clinical microbiology laboratory- where the samples are reported all round the clock- blood cultures, pus and fluid cultures, direct wet mounts and rapid tests for Hepatitis B and C and HIV 1 & 2 for patients on dialysis and for needle stick injuries.
I have a keen interest in research with a flair to teach and hope to be able to impart my knowledge to the future clinical microbiologists of tomorrow.
