In the Division of Infectious Diseases, we treat adult outpatients and inpatients from all areas of medicine and surgery with serious infectious diseases. The University Hospital Basel is a member of the Swiss HIV Cohort Study and other national and international research projects in general infectious diseases.

The position
• Professional and personnel management of senior and assistant physicians in outpatient infectious diseases incl. OPAT
• Promotion of assistant physicians and further development of training in the field of outpatient infectious diseases/HIV
• Responsibility for processes and workflows in outpatient infectious diseases
• Further development of science in the field of outpatient infectious diseases/HIV
• Participation in medical on-call service in the infectious diseases consultancy service (mainly inpatients), outpatient infectious diseases and HIV services on a regular basis

Your skills and experience
• Federal or Swiss-recognized specialist diploma in internal medicine and infectious diseases
• Habilitation or equivalent qualification
• High level of social and professional skills in dealing with patients, colleagues and other professional groups
• Flexible and open-minded personality with broad clinical experience
• Enjoy working in an exciting, challenging and varied environment
• Research interest in the field of HIV and/or outpatient infectious diseases
